This is the Press Kit handed out by CNN during the Republican National Convention in Dallas in 1984. The convention was held August 20-23, 1984 in Dallas, Texas. It was the 33rd convention to be held by the GOP and the first ever staged in Texas. Delegates made President Ronald Reagan a unanimous first ballot choice as their candidate for a second term in office.
