While enduring the daily grind of a political campaign, as a member of the press corps, I wanted a memento to remember the long days on the road with the candidate. At the time, I jokingly told my colleagues we had “the second hardest job in America.” I printed up a poster and asked journalists who covered the campaign to sign it. I also asked the flight crew and, of course, the candidate. They all obliged.
